Editor:
    I would encourage voters in Kennebunk to vote for Al Searles for selectman. I know first hand that Al Searles cares deeply about Kennebunk. He would be a selectman that would listen to the residents and represent them well as selectman. No other resident that I know of has been to more of the selectmen’s meetings and workshops. He would be able to step in on day one with a working knowledge of the current situations that are facing our town and be able to make informed decisions about them. He has been an active member of this community sitting on the budget board and the charter commission. Al Searles does not have an axe to grind nor does he not have an agenda to fill. Al Searles, the NY Yankee fan that would serve Kennebunk well. Be sure to vote on Thursday, Feb. 21.
