Letter: Where are the KHS alumni from 80s, 90s? (May 2, 2008)

Editor:

The Kennebunk/Kennebunkport Alumni Association recently sent out its annual letter with an invitation and reservation form for the annual dinner meeting on Friday, June 13 at the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport. It also included a space to pay dues and make a donation to the scholarship fund.

If any alumni did not receive a letter, it probably means we do not have the correct address in our files. Alumni can still make reservations by sending a check to “Alumni” P.O. Box 272, Kennebunk, ME 04043.

For further information, please call Donna Noble at 985-7918 or Don Cluff at 967-3439.

Any alumni who does not plan to attend this year but would like to update their current address, please send us this information to the address above. We rely on you to keep your address current in our files and thank you in advance for sending it to us.

To date we have heard from many classmates but the biggest percentage so far is from the decade of the 1940s. We have many from the 1950s as the classes of 1953 and 1958 are having their reunions as well as some from the 1960s and 1970s – where are all the graduates from the 1980s and 1990s?

During the 1990s we gave out 80 scholarships to you. We would really like to hear from you and get your current addresses. Please take a minute to drop us a note with this information.

The mission of the Alumni Association is to raise money for scholarships and we work very hard all year round on fundraising projects. If everyone would just send in their dues of $5 we would be able to provide many more.
