Letter: Re-elect Selectman Bob Higgins (May 30, 2008)

Editor:
Is it important to you that your tax dollars are used wisely? Do experience and honesty matter to you in town government? Do you want to vote for a selectman who for three years has worked solely for the taxpayers?
If you can answer “yes” to the above three questions, then Bob Higgins is your candidate for selectman on June 10.  If you have attended or watched as many selectmen meetings as I have for the last three years, you already know that Bob Higgins examines every dollar spent and doesn’t hesitate to ask the difficult questions.
Bob has no personal agendas nor any affiliations with outside influences such as businesses or private groups. Bob is retired from the Postal Service and is a born negotiator with a talent for bringing people together on any issue. Bob is fair to all citizens in town and for three years has worked hard for us. Bob is readily available to all residents. He is always prompt in answering emails or phone calls and researches any information not known to him at the time.
For three years Bob Higgins has served Kennebunk and its taxpayers well, showing great initiative and proving to me that he has earned another three years as selectman. We all will benefit from his re-election.
Please vote for Bob Higgins for Selectman on June 10 and assure yourself of three more years of respectful, dedicated and caring leadership.
Sue Walker
Kennebunk
