Letter: What a wondeful night (June 20, 2008)
Editor:
I would like to thank the parents and faculty who devoted their own time and resources to raising the funds, making the contacts and shepherding the graduating class of 2008 on this year’s Project Graduation.
It was a night that will not be forgotten by any of us, and you are all well deserved of a public thank you.
The food at Colony House was extraordinary (for me especially, never having had Caesar salad or anything with Alfredo sauce before in my life).
The show at “Blue Man Group” was nothing short of amazing and the ride around Boston harbor on the “Spirit of Boston,” a four-story cruise ship, was magical at the very least.
Although we were riding school buses, the heat didn’t get to anyone too badly (it was in the 80’s well past midnight) – don’t worry.
I think I can speak for the entire class in saying our Project Grad was an incredible experience and in thanking parents, faculty and students who put in their time planning, organizing and fundraising for this special night.
