‘We’ve been burgled!’ (Oct. 10, 2008)

The Post’s office in Biddeford was burglarized early in morning of Sunday, Oct. 5, causing the paper to lose a large number of email and computer files. The Post is one of six community newspapers published by Mainely Media LLC. All six of the papers are being affected by the crime.

“We are attempting to recover the information, but many press releases, calendar items and event happenings were lost due to the theft of computers from our office,” Managing Editor Colleen Marshall said. “We apologize for the inconvenience and are working hard to compile the missing information. We ask for the public’s help in resending any releases or information you may have sent to us in the past month.”

Also, any items for the Things to Do calendar that run on a weekly or monthly basis should be resent so we can update the event listings.

Releases can be emailed to: news@kennebunkpost.com or editor@kennebunkpost.com. Any questions should be directed to Ward Peck at 282-4337 ext. 221.
