Police notes (Oct. 17, 2008)


Kennebunk


Police arrested a resident of York Street for failing to appear in court. 


After a motor vehicle accident, a 31-year-old Berwick resident was arrested and charged with operating under the influence. 


Police received several complaints about a disturbance on Grove Street, and after a brief investigation a 22-year-old Biddeford resident was arrested and charged with assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release. They also arrested and charged a 21-year-old Biddeford resident with obstructing government administration and a 22-year-old of Kennebunkport with obstructing government administration, disorderly conduct, and criminal threatening.


After being pulled over for a motor vehicle violation, a 22-year-old Sanford resident was arrested and charged with operating under the influence.


After being pulled over for a motor vehicle violation, a 24-year-old Portland resident was charged with operating a motor vehicle after license suspension or revocation. 

Police received a complaint from Cummings Market about a theft, and after a brief investigation police charged a 52-year-old Wells resident with theft. 


Police stopped a vehicle on Webber Hill Road and charged the 45-year-old driver of Waterboro with operating a motor vehicle after habitual offender revocation.


Police received a call about a disturbance on Alfred Road, and after further investigation a 15-year-old juvenile of Kennebunk was charged with assault and criminal threatening.


After being pulled over for a motor vehicle violation, a 28-year-old Seattle, Wash. resident was arrested and charged with operating under the influence.


After being pulled over for a motor vehicle violation, a 52-year-old resident of Sedgewood Drive was charged with operating a motor vehicle after license suspension or revocation. 


Kennebunkport


After Police observed a traffic violation, they charged a 29-year-old Gorham resident with towing an unregistered trailer. 


Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Spring Street and after a brief investigation police charged a 65-year-old New York resident with leaving the scene of an unattended vehicle accident.


After a motor vehicle violation on Mills Road, police charged a 21-year-old Waterboro resident with failure to display current or valid inspection sticker and failure to provide evidence of insurance. 


After an observed motor vehicle violation on Spring Street, police arrested and charged a 27-year-old Kennebunk resident with operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor. 


Police received a complaint of disturbance at a residence on Mills Road. Police responded to the scene, but the person causing the disturbance had left the area. After a brief investigation, police located and arrested the 42-year-old resident and charged him with assault.


After an observed motor vehicle violation on River Road, police arrested and charged a 26-year-old Arundel resident with operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor and possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
