Kennebunk Police responded to the area of Ivy Court for a reported disturbance involving the use of a knife at approximately 8 p.m. Nov. 8. The suspects fled prior to police arrival, but were quickly located by police. 

Initial investigation revealed an altercation between multiple subjects had taken place in the street. Multiple injuries were reported, with Kennebunk Rescue treating and releasing one subject with minor injuries, while another subject is receiving treatment at Maine Medical Center for a non-life threatening injury. 

The detective division was on scene to assist patrol units, and while the knife used in the altercation has been recovered, the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Jason McClure at 985-2102 ext. 1319.
