Police notes (Dec. 19, 2008)
KENNEBUNK
Kennebunk police arrested and charged Keith Stuart, 41, with operating under the influence and violating conditions of bail after an observed motor vehicle violation on Fletcher Street on Dec. 8.
Stuart, the town’s only full-time paramedic, is scheduled to appear in Biddeford District Court March 18, 2009.
A 25-year-old Arundel resident with a chain saw in his hand flagged down Kennebunk police officers on patrol on Ross Road.
Upon further investigation, police discovered he had active bail conditions not allowing him to posses or consume alcohol.
He was arrested and charged for violating these conditions as police deemed him intoxicated, and further charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and failing to report the accident.
Police charged a 25-year-old Old Falls Road resident with operating without a license, operating an ATV on public way and operating an unregistered ATV.
Police stopped a 48-year-old Alfred Road resident on Fletcher Street for a motor vehicle defect and arrested and charged her with operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
After police received information from a concerned citizen in regards to a possible burglary in progress on Brown Street, they conducted a brief search and located two Kennebunk juveniles — a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old — who were later charged with burglary and theft.
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with theft after police received a report that the juvenile stole a cellular phone from a Kennebunk High School employee.
