To the editor:

Our committee would like to express its appreciation to everyone who helped to make the second annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, held at the Dorothy Stevens Center, such a special event.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to prepare, serve, and clean up after the meal, including Selectmen Bob Higgins and Al Searles.
Thank you to all the people who came to share a meal with friends and neighbors, many of whom made a cash donation, which will go to benefit the local fuel assistance program. A special thanks goes out to shields Meats and Produce for their very generous contribuiton to the dinner.
 We were very pleased with the increased participation this year, and are already looking forward to next year’s dinner.
Our committee would like to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and a healthy and Happy New Year.
