To the editor:

We would like to thank the members of our respective towns for attending Sunday’s Democratic caucus. Approximately 50 people turned up to put democracy into action. Candidates or their surrogates for county and state offices made brief remarks, by-laws were modified and approved, town committee members and officers were elected, and delegates to the state convention were approved.
Above all, people came together and made their voices heard. Please watch for announcements of future meetings and events. Democracy begins with each of us and with all of us.
