Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Youth Field Assoication held its latest fundraiser on Jan. 23 at the Kennebunkport Land Trust building. We would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets and donated to our cause. We are pleased to report we raised more than $5,800 in ticket sales and bids on our silent auction items that were available that night. Many thanks to all the businesses and individuals who donated items.
We are continuing to make progress towards our goal of providing a community park and new playing fields for the youths of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport.
A special thanks to the band, Too Far North, for donating time to play at our event. If you were unable to attend and would still like to make a donation please visit www.youthfields.org. We will continue to have more events as the year continues including our annual Field Day in May. Look to our Web site and your local papers for news on upcoming fundraising events.
