To the editor:

Our family has been fortunate to have two children attend Sea Road School while Dr. Kevin Crowley has served as principal. We have been awed, wowed and inspired by his leadership, enthusiasm and overall passion for our kids. I can still remember seeing him out there everyday as we dropped our daughters off to school, opening the car door, saying “good morning” and offering some encouraging advice to them to get their day started.

His ability to get the most out his teachers, his students and establish excellent rapport with us as parents is especially noteworthy. I realize he is not leaving the school district and is just moving to Arundel, but I can’t help but feel a little jealous that our son will not get to experience his leadership when he attends Sea Road. Dr. Crowley – job well done!
